The
United Nations is seeking to award a multi-year
contract to a suitable firm for the rental/supply
of staff uniforms (various trades ?e.g.,
UN drivers, electric shop, facilities
management personnel, printers and reproduction
service staff, mail operations, painters
overalls, mail bags/pouches, executive
hand towels, drop cloths, printers towels,
etc.) and laundry, and maintenance services.
These services are required at the United
Nations New York Headquarters. The required
services must conform to the highest standards
of quality and service as available in
the New York Metropolitan Region.
The United Nations seeks contractors who
have demonstrated experience dating at
least ten years of similar and or equivalent
contracting/supply tasks.
Due to the nature of these services, only
those firms possessing substantial and
proven record of performance in this same
field of activities are encouraged to
participate.
The selected firm shall prove capable
of providing enough resources and services
(including pick-up and delivery services,
and laundry facilities) to perform the
whole scope of work in the mentioned schedule.
Those firms wishing to participate in
the tender must complete the attached
response form, per the instructions of
the forms. Only those firms deemed to
have adequate expertise, acceptable experience
and sufficient size will be invited to
participate in the subject tender.
The United Nations reserves the right
to reject expressions of interest received
after the above deadline.
Any firm wishing to do business with the
United Nations must be a fully registered
vendor with the United Nations Procurement
Division to be eligible for an award.
If the firm is not currently a fully registered
vendor with UNDP, registration application
forms and information are available on
the web site below. No award can be made
to vendors who have not completed the
UNDP registration process.
