项目简介：The
objective of the project is to enhance
the efficiency and effectiveness of the
Department of Highways (DOH) to deliver,
maintain and manage its road assets. Furthermore,
the project will
reduce traffic accidents and fatalities
on the national highways and enhance private
sector participation
in road operations. New methods of maintaining
roads through long-term, performance-based
contracts with
the private sector will be introduced
on a pilot basis. Board presentation is
scheduled for 9 December
2003.
